A medical cable compatible with implantable RF / NMR, comprising: a plurality of conductors, each conductor having a length with opposite proximal and distal end portions, each conductor having at least one segment with a multilayer stacked coil configuration comprising a first section Forward winding that extends in a longitudinal direction forward along a first physical length forward, then rotates to melt into a reverse winding section positioned proximally that extends in an inverse longitudinal direction substantially opposite along of an inverse physical length, then rotates to merge into a second, forwardly wound section that is positioned proximally that extends in a longitudinal direction forward along a second physical length forward, in which at least two of the conductors are co-shaped to form the coil configuration to multilayer stack; a plurality of electrodes, each electrode coupled to a different one from the plurality of conductors; and an outer layer of biocompatible material, in which the multilayer stacked coil configuration is covered by the outer layer. |
