A compound of formula I: ** Formula ** or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; wherein R1 is a 5-membered heteroaryl group linked through either a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom and which is optionally condensed with a C4-C7 cycloalkyl, a 6-membered phenyl or a heteroryl; wherein the 5-membered heteroaryl is optionally substituted with one to four substituents each independently selected from halo, -S (O) 2-C1-C3 alkyl, -S-C1-C3 alkyl, hydroxyl, -C (O) NRaRb, (C3-C5) cycloalkyl, cyano, phenyl which is optionally substituted with one to three halo, cyano, (C1-C3) alkyl or (C1-C3) alkoxy, 6-membered heteroaryl which is optionally substituted with one to three halo, cyano, (C1-C3) alkyl or (C1-C3) alkoxy, (C1-C6) alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluoro, or (C1-C6) alkoxy optionally substituted with one to three fluoros; Ra and Rb are each independently H or (C1-C3) alkyl; R2 is H or methyl; R3 is tetrazolyl, -CH2-tetrazolyl, - (CH2) 2SO3H or - (CH2) 2CO2H, -CH2CHFCO2H or -CH2CHOHCO2H; A1, A2, A3 and A4 are each independently CR4 or N, with the proviso that no more than two of A1, A2, A3 and A4 are N; R4 at each occurrence is independently H, halo, cyano, (C1-C3) alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluoro, or (C1-C3) alkoxy optionally substituted with one to three fluoro; L is -X-CH (R5) - or -CH (R5) -X-; X is CH2, O or NH; R5 is (C1-C6) alkyl which is optionally substituted with one to three of fluoro, hydroxyl or methoxy; cycloalkyl (C3-C7) which is optionally substituted with one to two alkyls (C1-C3) which are optionally substituted with one to three fluoro and in which one to two carbons of the cycloalkyl (C3-C7) can be replaced by an NH , N-C1-C3 alkyl, O or S; or cycloalkyl (C3-C7) -alkyl (C1-C6), wherein the cycloalkyl (C3-C7) group of said cycloalkyl (C3-C7) -alkyl (C1-C6) is optionally substituted with one to two alkyl ( C1-C3) which are optionally substituted with one to three fluoro; B1, B2, B3 and B4 are each independently CR6 or N, provided that no more than two of B1, B2, B3 and B4 are N; and R6 at each occurrence is independently H, halo, (C1-C3) alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluoro, or (C1-C3) alkoxy optionally substituted with one to three fluoro. |
