abstract | Method for preparing feed pellets for carnivorous fish that has improved palatability, comprising: a) providing a palatability improving composition comprising: - a protein hydrolyzate having a degree of hydrolysis (GH) from 14.5 to 100 % and containing at least 17 different free amino acids, combined with: - one or more nucleotides selected from inosine monophosphate, guanosine monophosphate, citidine monophosphate and combinations thereof, and - optionally, in the presence of one or more ingredients of the additional palatability improver composition; b) applying said palatability enhancing composition to feed pellets for carnivorous fish; and c) recovering said feed pellets for carnivorous fish that have improved palatability. |
