titleOfInvention | Implantable biodetection device and methods of use thereof |
abstract | A detection device (400) for detecting the presence or concentration of an analyte in a fluid, comprising: a structural body (406) comprising a series of reservoirs, each of the reservoirs having a first opening in the structural body ; a sensor located inside each of the reservoirs, the sensor comprising a working electrode, a catalyst that covers at least a part of the working electrode and an auxiliary oxygen generation electrode; at least one reservoir lid that closes the first opening to isolate the working electrode and the auxiliary electrode within each of the reservoirs and to prevent the analyte outside the first reservoir from coming into contact with the catalyst; and means for breaking or displacing the at least one reservoir cap of each of the reservoirs to allow the analyte from the outside to come into contact with the catalyst; wherein the series of reservoirs comprises a first series of low sensitivity sensors (402) and a second series of high sensitivity sensors (404). |
