abstract | Process for the preparation of lipophilic polyalkylene polyamines by homogeneously catalyzed amination of alcohols, in which (i) aliphatic amino alcohols are reacted with each other or (ii) aliphatic diamines or polyamines with aliphatic diols or polyols with dissociation of water in the presence of a homogeneous catalyst , characterized in that at least one of the starting products aliphatic amino alcohols, aliphatic diamines or polyamines or aliphatic diols or polyols contains an alkyl or alkylene group with five or more carbon atoms and after the reaction a phase separation is present in at least an apolar phase and at least one polar phase, in which the lipophilic polyalkylenepolyamines are present enriched in the apolar phase. |
