A composition containing water, comprising water; at least one phytosterol or phytostanol with added polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene represented 5 by the following formula (1): ** Formula ** in which R represents a phytosterol residue or a phytostanol residue, m is a number from 5 to 50 and n is a number from 10 to 50, the ratio of m to n being from 1: 5 to 5: 1, the quantity of phytosterol or phytostanol with added polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene (1) being 10% by mass or less based on the entire composition; and at least one sparingly water-soluble substance having, in the chemical structure thereof, two or more 6-membered rings, the sparingly water-soluble substance being a UV-absorbing agent of triazine, in which the sparingly soluble substance in water it is in a state of solubilization. |
