abstract | A process for the production of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a β2-adrenergic agonist and a glucocorticoid, comprising the steps of: (i) mixing a thick excipient and a microfine excipient, and sifting the resulting mixture; (ii) mixing a β2-adrenergic agonist with a microfine excipient and sifting the resulting mixture; (iii) add the product of step (ii) to a portion of the mixture obtained in step (i); (iv) mix and / or sift the product obtained in step (iii); and separately (v) mixing a glucocorticoid with a microfine excipient and sifting the resulting mixture; (vi) add the product of step (v) to a portion of the mixture obtained in step (i); and (vii) mixing and / or sifting the product obtained in stage (vi), wherein the glucocorticoid composition of stage (vii) is combined with the β2-adrenergic agonist composition of stage (iv) and the composition resulting is sieved and mixed. |
