abstract | Method for determining an inhibitor of a proteolytically active coagulation factor in a sample, which comprises the steps of: a) providing and incubating a reaction mixture containing i. an aliquot of the sample ii. a defined amount of a proteolytically active coagulation factor, iii. at least one ligand that binds to the active center of the proteolytically active coagulation factor, but is not dissociated by it in a peptide bond, iv. a first and second component of a signal generating system which interact in such a way that a detectable signal arises if the first and second component of the signal forming system are brought to spatial proximity to each other and, in which case, the factor of Proteolytically active coagulation is associated with the first component of the signal forming system or will be associated during incubation, and the ligand is associated with the second component of the signal forming system or will be associated during incubation; b) measure the signal of the signal forming system, in which case the height of the signal is inversely proportional to the concentration of inhibitor in the sample. |
