abstract | A capsule suspension formulation of pendimethalin comprising a herbicidally effective amount of microencapsulated pendimethalin, the microcapsules comprising said herbicidally effective amount of pendimethalin being encapsulated in a polymeric wall, said polymeric wall being formed in situ by an interfacial polymerization reaction that occurs produced between a first phase dispersed in a second phase, at least one of said first and second phases being characterized in that it comprises a predefined amount of at least one alkali or alkaline earth metal salt of an organic acid selected from acetic acid, propionic acid, citric acid, fumaric acid, tartaric acid, oxalic acid, succinic acid, valeric acid, malonic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid and phthalic acid and in which pendimethalin is present in an amount of 5% to 60% by weight of the formulation . |
