A biogel comprising fibrinogen molecules and a plurality of soluble vehicles, where each vehicle has a plurality of fibrinogen binding peptides immobilized in the vehicle, where each fibrinogen binding peptide comprises the amino acid sequence NH2-G (P, H ) RX- (SEQ ID NO: 15) at its amino terminal end, where X is any amino acid, and (P, H) means that either proline or histidine are present in that position, and each fibrinogen molecule is bound to the minus two fibrinogen-binding peptides, so that the fibrinogen molecules are linked to each other through vehicles through non-covalent bonds between the fibrinogen-binding peptides and the fibrinogen molecules. |
