Composite with antimicrobial activity comprising two self-assembled components of natural origin and, optionally, a component (C) of nanometric size. # A composite material formed by an oligomeric component (A) and a component (B) with phenolic compounds, where both components They are naturally occurring, have antimicrobial activity and anti-adhesive properties against microorganisms, are biocompatible and have no cytotoxicity to mammalian cells. Optionally, the composite material may comprise a component (C) of nanometric size. Preferably, composite material formed by propylene chitosan oligomers and, optionally, nanometer-sized silver. Synthesis method of a composite material comprising at least two of the components (A), (B) and (C) by sonication processes. Use of the composite material to prevent, reduce, control or eliminate any type of microorganism or pathogen. |
