abstract A ring spinning machine for making core yarn comprising: a. a first and a second pair of driven unwinding rollers (2.1, 2.2), the first and second pair of unwinding rollers (2.1, 2.2) are arranged in a horizontal direction (y) behind and at a spaced distance from each other , each pair suitable for receiving a coil of central filament (3.1, 3.2), characterized in that b. the first and second pair of unwinding cylinders (2.1, 2.2) are in a vertical direction (z) arranged between a drawing unit (5) mounted on a ring spinning frame (6) and a creel (8) for the coils (7) with respective fins; c. the first and second pair of unwinding cylinders (2.1, 2.2) are supported by a support rack (15) which is interconnected with the ring spinning frame; d. per bobbin (3.1, 3.2) a first deflection roller (13) is arranged between the unwinding cylinders (2.1, 2.2) and a delivery roller (11) of the drawing unit (5) for deflecting a filament (10) central unwound from the bobbin (3.1, 3.2) of the central filament before it enters the spinning process from a spindle by means of the delivery roller (11); and. the first and second pair of unwinding cylinders (2.1, 2.2) are driven in the same direction with respect to each other such that the coil (3.1, 3.2) of the central filament can be moved from the first to the second pair of cylinders (2.1, 2.2) unwinding without stopping the spinning process.
