abstract |
An albumin fusion protein comprising two or more Glucagon Type Peptide 1 (GLP-1) polypeptides oriented in tandem, wherein said albumin fusion protein comprises an amino acid sequence selected from: (a) the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 387; (b) a variant of (a) that is at least 90% identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 387, wherein said variant has GLP-1 activity; or (c) a fragment of (a) or (b) wherein said fragment has GLP-1 activity; fused to: (i) an albumin comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; or (ii) an albumin variant whose amino acid sequence is at least 90% identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; wherein the albumin fusion protein comprises the modified HSA / kex2 leader sequence of SEQ ID NO: 112. |
