abstract | A method for perfuming a dishwasher comprising the step of providing a first perfume inside a dishwasher, where the first perfume is capable of generating a second perfume when the first perfume encounters bad sulfurous odors in the dishwasher and where the first perfume is dominated by a selected note of i) fruity perfumes selected from the group consisting of mango, berry, including cassis, strawberry, blue berry, blackberry, raspberry, red currant, blackcurrant, cranberry and cherry, lychee, guava, grape, peach, peach skin, nectarine, apricot and passion fruit; ii) citrus perfumes selected from the group consisting of bergamot, orange blossom and grapefruit; iii) floral perfumes selected from the group consisting of lavender and geranium; iv) green perfumes selected from the group consisting of mint, mint leaf, tomato, tomato leaf, branch tomato, sage and sage leaf; and v) mixtures thereof and where the sulphurous components have been reduced or left out of the first perfume to create a perfume acceptable to the consumer and wherein the second perfume comprises from 0.001% to 10% by weight thereof of a sulfurous compound . |
