A method for producing an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrrotaxane, the method comprising: a mixing step for dissolving a polyethylene glycol and a cyclodextrin in an aqueous medium to prepare a mixed solution; and a cooling step to continuously or intermittently cool the mixed solution in a flow state to precipitate particles of pseudopolyrotrotaxane, wherein the psedopolyrrotaxane particles contain the polyethylene glycol that is included in the cavities of the cyclodextrin molecules in a skewed manner. ; The mixed solution is heated to a temperature of 60 ° C to 90 ° C in the mixing stage; the titration temperature is from 5 ° C to 20 ° C in the cooling stage; the cooling stage is performed at a cooling rate of 0.01 at 30 ° C / min; and the particles in the aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrrotaxane have an average particle size in volume analyzed using a particle size analyzer by laser diffraction of 1 to 200 μm. |
