abstract | Procedure for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell characterized by presenting the following steps: a) depositing a layer of a nanocrystalline semiconductor compound on a transparent conductive substrate; b) prepare nanoparticle suspensions in liquid media; c) use the suspensions to deposit a porous multilayer that has photonic crystal properties on the semiconductor layer, form a structure of alternate nanoparticle layers of controlled thickness, so that a periodic or almost periodic spatial modulation of an index of refraction through multilayer; d) heat the structure to a temperature between 100 ° C and 550 ° C; e) sensitize the structure with a dye by immersing the structure in a dye solution; f) prepare a counter electrode; g) seal the electrode and counter electrode, thus forming a cell, and infiltrate the space between them with a conductive electrolyte that can be liquid or solid. |
