abstract |
A method for the preparation of a microvesicle that houses tissue factor that has pro-coagulant activity comprising (i) expressing tissue factor or a variant thereof that has pro-coagulant activity in a eukaryotic cell, (ii) recovering microvesicles harboring factor tissue of the cells of step (i) and (iii) contacting the vesicles obtained in step (ii) with a negatively charged phospholipid in the absence of detergents under conditions suitable for incorporating said phospholipid into said vesicles, where said Microvesicles are formed by lipid membranes, or fragments thereof, of said eukaryotic cell. |
