abstract | Method for treating a lignocellulosic material continuously, comprising: performing a vapor explosion reaction in the lignocellulosic material to produce a suspension (9) that includes the lignocellulosic material; adding an alkali material (3) to the suspension (9) in a first conveyor (12), in which the alkali material (3) increases the average pH of the suspension (9) that passes through the first conveyor ( 12); transfer the suspension (9) with the alkali material (3) from the first conveyor (12) to a second conveyor (14); adding a first part (7 ') of a solution (7) of enzymes to the suspension (9) while it is in, entering, or in the discharge of, the second conveyor (14); transfer the suspension (9) with the enzyme solution (7) from the second conveyor (14) to a mixer (18); mixing the suspension (9) in the mixer (18), in which a second part (7 ") of the enzyme solution (7) is added to the suspension (9) during mixing, transfer the suspension (9) with the solution (7) of enzymes from the mixer (18) to a first reactor, and subjecting the suspension (9) in the first reactor to enzymatic hydrolysis, in which the viscosity of the suspension (9) is reduced in the first reactor . |
