titleOfInvention | Compact storage and transport system for glyphosate herbicide |
abstract | A method of maximizing the storage efficiency of the glyphosate herbicide comprising the steps of: (1) selecting a composition comprising an aqueous solution of glyphosate in which at least 90% by weight of glyphosate, expressed as acid equivalent, it is in the form of a monobasic potassium salt of glyphosate or the monoethanolammonium salt of glyphosate and which has a specific gravity greater than the aqueous glyphosate solution of IPA in the same concentration of glyphosate acid equivalent; (2) adjust the solution if necessary with water and / or other ingredients to form an adjusted solution that has an equivalent concentration of glyphosate acid between 40 percent by weight and a maximum percentage by weight imposed by the solubility of the glyphosate salt present; (3) fill a container that has a capacity of 9.46 - 100,000 liters at not less than 95% of its design capacity with the solution and (4) arrange the container after filling in a suitable storage location. |
