abstract Insect larvae breeding equipment comprising a larval digestion reactor, with a feeding system, aeration system and a solids extraction system. The solids extraction system has an air flow introduced through the reactor base, solid-gas and solid-solid separators being arranged behind the reactor. The aeration system comprises an aeration duct located at the bottom of the reactor, connected to the digestion chamber by means of a diffuser with a plurality of perforations along the digestion chamber. The feeding system comprises a water and nutrient mixer and a formed mud extruder. The reactor may operate in hyperbaric regime.
