Filtering and enhancing method of 2D, 3D and 3D + t ultrasonic images. # The method object of the invention comprises receiving an ultrasonic image, statistically characterizing the speckle pattern of the ultrasonic image received by a mixture model of probabilistic distributions, selecting an area of interest of the ultrasonic image and identify structures of interest of the selected area, calculate the probability of belonging of each pixel of the image for each component of the mixture of distributions, perform selective filtering with preservation of the information of interest characterized in the selected region through the minimization of a risk function that contemplates the calculation of conditioned means of components of the mixtures of distributions, and selectively enhance the filtered image. |
