abstract | A compound of formula (I) ** Formula ** in which R 1 represents 5 to 10 membered aryl or heteroaryl, in which the 5 to 10 membered aryl or heteroaryl is independently unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri -replaced; wherein the substituents are independently selected from the group consisting of: - (C1-4) alkyl, (C1-10 4) alkoxy, halogen, cyano, fluoroalkyl (C1-3), fluoroalkoxy (C1-3); and - -NR4R5, wherein R4 and R5 are independently hydrogen or (C1-4) alkyl; or R4 and R5 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached to form a 5- to 7-membered saturated ring optionally containing an oxygen atom; and - 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl, wherein the 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl is independently unsubstituted or mono- or di-substituted; wherein the substituents are independently selected from the group consisting of (C1-4) alkyl, (C1-4) alkoxy, halogen, cyano, fluoroalkyl (C1-3), fluoroalkoxy (C1-3); wherein at most one substituent selected from -NR4R5 and 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl is present; U represents CH and V represents N; or U represents N and V represents CH; (R2) n represents one or two optional substituents, wherein each R2 is independently (C1-3) alkyl; and Y represents O or S; and ring A represents 5-10 membered aryl or heteroaryl, wherein said 5-10 membered aryl or heteroaryl is independently optionally substituted with (R3) m; wherein - (R3) m represents one, two or three optional substituents, in which each R3 is independently selected from the group consisting of: - (C1-4) alkyl, (C1-4) alkoxy, halogen, cyano , fluoroalkyl (C1-3), fluoroalkoxy (C1-3); and - 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl, wherein the 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl is independently unsubstituted or mono- or di-substituted; wherein the substituents are independently selected from the group consisting of (C1-4) alkyl, (C1-4) alkoxy, halogen, cyano, fluoroalkyl (C1-3), fluoroalkoxy (C1-3); which is present at most a 5 or 6 membered phenyl or heteroaryl substituent; - or (R3) m represents two substituents that form a 5 or 6 membered non-aromatic ring fused to the A ring, wherein said 5 or 6 member ring optionally contains one or two oxygen atoms; L represents a group - (CH2) m-, in which m represents the whole number 2 or 3; wherein said group L is optionally substituted with R6; wherein R6, if present, represents (C1-3) alkyl; and X represents a direct link, O, S or NR7; wherein, in the case where X represents NR7, - R7 represents hydrogen or (C1-3) alkyl; or, additionally, - R7 and R6 may form a 5 to 7 membered saturated ring that includes the nitrogen to which R7 is attached; - R7 together with one of the substituents R3 can form a 5 to 7 membered non-aromatic ring that includes the nitrogen to which R7 is attached, whose ring is fused to ring A; in which R6 is absent; and the remaining of said R3 substituents, if present, are independently selected from the group consisting of (C1-4) alkyl, (C1-4) alkoxy, halogen, cyano, fluoroalkyl (C1-3) and fluoroalkoxy (C1- 3); or a salt thereof. |
