A system that includes: a source (250) of flow having: a source (145) of bone cement that includes a hardenable bone cement in situ; and a source (150) of pressure to impart movement to the bone cement; an introducer assembly (110A) having a channel extending therethrough, the introducer (110A) can be coupled to the flow source (25) to provide an inflow of the bone cement into a bone; a source (125A) of energy coupled to a power supply mechanism for applying energy to bone cement; a sensor (235) for measuring a characteristic of bone cement; a computerized controller (125B) for controlling the influence of bone cement in which the controller (125B) adjusts a flow parameter in response to a measured characteristic of bone cement. |
