abstract | A process for producing para-xylene of a feed stream (11) comprising a mixture of aromatic isomers and C8 heavy hydrocarbons, the method comprising: a) introducing a feed stream (11) to a fractionation zone (12) of xylene to produce a stream (16) enriched in xylenes; b) cooling the stream (16) enriched in xylenes by heat transfer of the stream (16) enriched in xylenes to one or more of, a first refining stream (26) and a stream (28) of isomerization reactor product ; c) introducing the stream (16) enriched in xylenes and a stream (18) of desorbent in a para-xylene separation zone and producing a first stream (32) enriched in para-xylene and the first stream (26) of refining of the stream (16) enriched in xylenes and the stream (18) of desorbent; d) heating the first stream (32) enriched in para-xylene by heat transfer of the desorbent stream (18) to the first stream (32) enriched in para-xylene and feeding the first stream (32) enriched in para- xylene heated to a distillation zone (21) to produce a second stream (35) enriched for xylene and part (23) of the desorbent stream (18); e) introducing the first refining stream (26) to a refining column (22) to produce another part (24) of the desorbent stream and a second refining stream (45); f) heating the second refining stream (45) by heat transfer of the product stream (51) of the isomerization reactor to the second refining stream (45) and feeding the second refining stream (45) heated to an area (46) isomerization which converts the second refining stream (45) into the product stream (51) of the isomerization reactor; g) heating at least a portion of the stream (51, 28) of product from the heat transfer isomerization reactor of one or more of, a stream (38) of para-xylene product, stream (16) enriched in xylenes and the desorbent stream (18), to the stream (51) of the product of the isomerization reactor; h) heating the second stream (35) enriched in para-xylene by heat transfer of the stream (38) of para-xylene product to the second stream (35) enriched in para-xylene; i) feeding the second stream (35) enriched in para-xylene to a finishing column (36) to produce the stream (38) of para-xylene product. |
