abstract | Procedure for determining the quantity or activity of an analyte associated with platelets in a sample of an individual, characterized in that the procedure comprises the following steps: a) measuring the quantity or activity of the analyte in a first basic test mixture containing plasma rich in platelets of the individual and a detergent and in a second basic test mixture containing either i) plasma rich in platelets of the individual and no detergent or ii) plasma poor in platelets of the individual and no detergent or iii) poor plasma in platelets of the individual and a detergent, and b) compare the measurement results, the difference between the measurement results corresponding to the quantity or activity of the platelet-associated analyte. |
