abstract | Method for the manufacture of a polymeric organic / inorganic hybrid polymer suitable as a light-additive additive in a total process comprising a sol-gel process in which hydrolysable metal compounds are reacted with functional amino groups by means of hydrolysis and condensation, characterized in that the total process comprises at least one additional step in which one or more of said functional amino groups are reacted with an aromatic carboxylic acid derivative comprising a group with a proton donation capacity in the ortho position with with respect to the carboxylic acid derivative group, while the sol-gel process comprises at least two stages in a defined chronological sequence, i) the first stage being the formation of a core under controlled hydrolysis and condensation with a silane of the formula: NH2 -B-Si (-Y) 3 in which B is a bonding group chosen from C1 alkylene -C18 saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted arylene, in which the carbon chains may include one or more branches and / or one or more carbon atoms may be replaced by the elements oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, silicon and boron, while that Y is a hydrolysable residue, ii) developing at least one subsequent stage branches that absorb UV by reacting two B-NH2 groups with a carboxylic acid or carboxylic acid derivative comprising one of said chemical structures: wherein R1-R4 they are selected from groups such as hydrogen, unsubstituted saturated or unsaturated C1-C24 alkyl, substituted unsaturated or unsaturated C1-C24 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, halogen, hydroxyl, substituted or unsubstituted amine, aliphatic or aromatic carbonyl, while one or more carbon atoms in the carbon chains of said compounds may be substituted by one or more elements chosen from oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus or, silicon and boron, or in which R1-R4 are chosen from the condensation products or addition products of one or more types of chemical compositions such as acids, alcohols, phenols, amines, aldehydes or epoxides and in which R1 -R4 can form substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring structures that together with the existing aromatic ring form a larger ring structure than phenyl, while M, Z are chosen from O, N, S and in which R5-R7 is choose from R1-O, R1R2N or R1-S. |
