abstract Electrochemical immunosensor for the determination of deoxinivalenol. # The present invention relates to a kit comprising an electrochemical immunosensor for the quantitative determination of deoxinivalenol (DON). It is a direct competitive electrochemical immunosensor, where specific antibodies of the mycotoxin DON immobilized on magnetic microparticles functionalized with protein G. DON from the sample to be analyzed are used, will compete with a DON marked with horseradish peroxidase for a biorecognition element, which is the monoclonal antibody immobilized on the magnetic particles. The stage of the enzymatic reaction and the electrochemical detection take place on a multiple electrode, preferably of 8 screen-printed carbon electrodes, the electrons generated after the enzymatic reaction being electrochemically detected. In addition, the invention relates to the electrochemical detection and quantification method of DON mycotoxin using the kit and its use for the detection and quantification in cereals and derived products.
