abstract Process for direct amination of hydrocarbons to give amino hydrocarbons by reacting a flow of starting products E, which contains at least one hydrocarbon and at least one amination reagent, to give a reaction mixture R, which contains aminohydrocarbon and hydrogen in a RZ reaction zone, and electrochemical separation of at least part of the hydrogen produced during the reaction from the reaction mixture R by means of a gas-tight membrane-electrode assembly, which has at least one proton conducting membrane of selectively and on each side of the membrane at least one electrode catalyst, in which on the side of the retained material of the membrane at least a part of the hydrogen is oxidized in the anode catalyst to give protons and protons after crossing the membrane on the side of the permeate material is reacted in the cathode catalyst with oxygen to give water, the oxygen proceeding or of a flow O containing oxygen, which is brought into contact with the permeate side of the membrane.
