abstract |
Method for manufacturing a drug elution stent comprising, forming a plurality of stent patterns (120) on a flat sheet of metal (121) to form a flat stent base material panel for stents, each pattern having ( 120) stent a light surface, a vessel wall surface and a first longitudinal side (123) and a second longitudinal side (124), each longitudinal side having an edge (28); characterized by coating at least one of the surfaces of the flat stent panel with a coating substance (2000), wherein the coating substance is preferably a polymer with a therapeutic agent; deform at least one coated stent pattern to give a tubular shape; and joining the edge of the first longitudinal side to the edge of the second longitudinal side to form the stent (31) with drug elution. |
