titleOfInvention | New uses of oxytocin-type molecules and related methods |
abstract | A derivative selected from oxytocin, a derivative of oxytocin and an oxytocin agonist for use in the treatment of a disorder selected from obesity and insulin resistance, wherein the derivative of oxytocin is selected from 4 -treonine-1-hydroxideaminooxytocin, 4-serine, isoleucine-oxytocin-8, 9-deamidooxitocin, 7-D-proline-oxytocin, (2, 4-diisoleucine) -oxytocin, 1-deamino-1-monocarba-E12-Tir (OMe)] - OT (dCOMOT), carbetocin (SEQ ID NO .: 2: Butiril-Tir (Me) -Ile-Gln-Asn-Cys-Pro-Leu-Gly-NH2), 4-threonine, 7-glycine -oxytocin (TG-OT), (1-butanoic acid-2- (O-methyl-L-tyrosine) -1-carbaoxitocina, Ile-conopresina, atosiban, oxipresina, deamino-6-carba-oxytoxino (dC60), desmopressina and 1-deamino-oxytocin where the disulfide bridge between residues 1 and 6 is replaced by a thioether, wherein said oxytocin, derived from oxytocin or oxytocin agonist is to be administered periferally. |
