abstract | Nutritional formulation or supplement comprising a hydrolyzate containing intensely hydrolyzed cow's milk peptides and / or a fraction containing hydrolyzed peptides containing intensely hydrolyzed cow's milk peptides and / or one or more peptides containing isolated T-cell epitopes of the hydrolyzate containing intensely hydrolyzed cow's milk peptides for use in inducing tolerance to cow's milk, a protein contained in cow's milk or an allergen contained in cow's milk in a human subject, in the that said peptides contained in the hydrolyzate or the hydrolyzate fraction comprise peptides containing T cell epitopes or wherein said one or more peptides are peptides containing T cell epitopes, wherein said peptides containing T cell epitopes can direct the immune reaction after ingestion of the nutritional formulation towards tolerance and n that the hydrolyzate containing intensely hydrolyzed cow's milk peptides comprises less than 1% of peptides with a size greater than 1.5 kD. |
