titleOfInvention Removable dressing for nasal tamponade
abstract The invention describes a new removable dressing for nasal tamponade after nasosinusoidal surgery comprising an essentially cylindrical body (2) of bioabsorbable material suitable for introduction into a patient's nostril and which is fixed to a core (3) of a non-bioabsorbable material, wherein said core (3) of non-bioabsorbable material comprises an extractor (4) protruding from said body (2) such that, in use, it is outside the patient's nostril to allow the dressing to be removed (1 ). A method of manufacturing such a dressing is also described.
