abstract |
A device for fixing a suture anchor (2) in an opening of a hard fabric with the help of a material having thermoplastic and energy properties transmitted to the suture anchor for in situ liquefaction of at least part of the material that has thermoplastic properties, the device comprising: an instrument (1) comprising a distal face (10) of the instrument and an axial channel (11) with a distal mouth located on the distal face (10) of the instrument, the distal face being formed ( 10) of the instrument for making contact with the material having thermoplastic properties, and a substantially tubular shaped connecting piece (3) embedded in the axial channel (11) of the instrument (1), the connecting piece (3) being formed in a tubular shape to engage an anchoring foot (22) located distally of the thermoplastic material, characterized in that the axial channel (11) and the connecting piece (3) are equipped with capture elements (12 and 12 ') which cooperate to capture the proximal end of the connecting piece (3) in the axial channel (11) when the connecting piece (3) is moved in a proximal direction in the axial channel (11). |
