Genetically modified microorganism for the bioproduction of 1,3-propanediol from sucrose, in which the microorganism comprises: - a two-stage metabolic pathway for the production of 1,3-propanediol, which comprises a first stage of decarboxylation of 4 -hydroxy-2-ketobutyrate with an enzyme that has an activity of 2-keto acid decarboxylase encoded by an endogenous gene, whose expression is enhanced or by a heterologous gene, and a second step of reducing the 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde obtained with an enzyme that has hydroxy aldehyde reductase activity, and - functional genes encoding a PTS sucrose utilization system and / or a non-PTS sucrose utilization system, which allow the microorganism to use sucrose as the sole source of carbon. |
