abstract |
A subject of the present invention is a device that provides a rapid evaluation of the ripening state of the grape seeds by image scanning. The device consists of a tubular cabin where any compact digital camera that has flash can be coupled through a translucent methacrylate tubular crown of different openings. Inside it contains a reservoir for the sample and a surface with a reference target with an inclination of 8ยบ to minimize the phenomena of specular reflection of the illumination on the sample. # The images obtained with this device can be analyzed by a computer, which by assessing its color predicts the degree of maturity of the grape seeds. This estimate is essential due to the influence of the solid parts of the grape during the winemaking process. |
