(cat's claw) containing procyanidins, propelargonidines and flavanolignans, method of obtaining and their applications. # This invention relates to phenolic extracts containing procyanidins, propelargonidines and flavanolignans, with properties / activities potentially beneficial for human health, and obtained from the aerial parts and internal wood of the Uncaria tomentosa L plant, as well as the procedure for obtaining said extracts. These extracts are useful for making food additives, cosmetic compositions and pharmaceutical compositions with antioxidant, antimicrobian, cytotoxic and antiproliferative activity. |
