abstract A process for producing a cell sheet related to the anterior ocular segment, comprising the steps of: culturing cells related to the anterior ocular segment on a cell culture support comprising a substrate having its surface covered with a temperature sensitive polymer that has a critical dissolution temperature higher or lower than 0-80 ° C with respect to water, to form a cell sheet of cells related to the anterior ocular segment, adjust the temperature of the culture solution to above the higher critical dissolution temperature or even below the lower critical dissolution temperature, putting the cell sheet of cells related to the anterior ocular segment in close contact with a polymeric membrane, detaching the cell sheet of cells related to the anterior ocular segment together with the polymeric membrane of the cell culture support without treatment with proteinase, where: the cells related to the anterior ocular segment are endothelial cells of the cornea; the temperature sensitive polymer is poly (N-isopropylacrylamide); and the polymeric membrane is made of polyvinylidene difluoride converted to hydrophilic.
