abstract | Composition comprising a first set of probes and a second set of probes, each of the probes having eight nucleotides, in which the eight nucleotides are composed of one to three nucleotides of DNA and five to seven nucleotides of ANB (blocked nucleic acid ), in which all the probes of the first and second sets of probes have identical nucleotide sequences with the exception of: (i) the base or bases in one, two or three random positions of ANB, and (ii) the base in a discriminant position, in which one, two or three random positions of DNA and the discriminant position are located in identical positions in all the probes of the first and second games, in which in each random position of ANB the base is independently selected between adenine, cytosine, guanine and thymine and any possible sequence resulting from the variation or variations of sequence in one, two or three random positions of ANB is represented sitting at least one probe in each set of probes, and in which the base in the discriminating position is identical within each set of probes but differs between the first and second sets of probes. |
