abstract | Catalyst component for the polymerization of ethylene, which comprises a reaction product of (1) a magnesium complex, which is a solution of a magnesium halide in a solvent system; (2) at least one titanium compound of formula Ti (OR) aXb, in which R is independently a C1-C14 hydrocarbyl, X is independently a halogen, a is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4, b is 1 , 2, 3 or 4 and + b> = 3 or 4; and (3) at least one organic silicon compound of formula (I): wherein R1 is a C3-C20 aliphatic hydrocarbyl, which is substituted with at least one substituent selected from halogens, C1-C6 acyloxy groups, epoxy, amino , C1-C6 alkylamino groups, di (C1-C6 alkyl) amino groups, C1-C6 alkoxy groups, glyidoxyl and oxo group; R2, R3 and R4 are independently a C1-C10 aliphatic hydrocarbyl, a C3-C10 alicyclic hydrocarbyl, a C6-C10 aryl, a C7-C10 aralkyl or a C7-C10 alkaryl, in which the solvent system is one comprising at least one organic epoxy compound, at least one organic boron compound, at least one alcohol and optionally at least one inert diluent, or one comprising at least one organic epoxy compound, at least one organophosphorus compound, at least one alcohol and optionally at least one inert diluent and in which the at least one alcohol is chosen from optionally halogenated linear alkyl alcohols having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms, optionally halogenated branched alkyl alcohols having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl alcohols optionally halogenated having from 3 to 10 carbon atoms, optionally halogenated aryl alcohols having from 6 to 20 carbon atoms, to optionally halogenated aralkyl alcohols having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms, optionally halogenated alkaryl alcohols having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms and mixtures thereof. |
