Modification of polyurethane with polymers sensitive to biocompatible stimuli for loading and transfer of drugs. The invention relates to polyurethanes in the form of films, sheets or modified catheters, by means of gamma radiation ({ga}), with grafts of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) and semi-interprenetrates (s-IPNs) sensitive to temperature and at pH, presenting a high biocompatibility, for application as implantable systems for local release of drugs useful in the prevention and treatment of pathological or physiological states associated with the use of medical devices, in the development of topical, transdermal or Transmucosal medication or active substances and in the preparation of cosmetics. |
