titleOfInvention | Method to evaluate the effectiveness of embryonic culture media, used in in vitro fertilization and culture processes, based on the ability of embryos to bind epidermal growth factors |
abstract | The present invention contemplates a method for evaluating the efficacy of embryonic culture media, used in in vitro fertilization and culture processes, based on the ability of embryos to bind epidermal growth factors, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) Obtaining non-human embryos by in vitro or in vivo fertilization, b) Embryo development to the blastocyst stage, c) Cultivation of the embryos obtained in a) and b) in a culture medium with epidermal growth factors conjugated to fluorochrome and d) Measurement of the amount of growth factor conjugated to fluorochrome, attached to the surface of the embryos grown in c), where a higher fluorescence intensity is related to optimal culture conditions. |
