abstract | Fermentation process for the production of polyhydroxyalkanoates and derivatives comprising the use of bacterial predators. # Extraction procedure of a bioproduct selected from the group consisting of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), PHA hydrolyzate and any mixture thereof, and obtained by fermentation of a prey producing bacterium, characterized in said extraction procedure because it comprises mixing the prey producing bacterium that contains the bioproduct inside with a predatory bacterium in a medium comprising a source of Ca and Mg. Preferably the predatory bacteria Bdeilovibrio bacteriovorus HD100 and the prey producing bacterium is Pseudomonas putida KT2440 or Cupriavidus necator H16. Additionally, a method of obtaining the bioproduct comprising extraction by the process of the invention is also described. |
