abstract | A method for the resolution of a mixture of optical isomers of pinocembrina, in particular a racemate of pinocembrina, said procedure comprising the following steps: (1) carrying out a derivatization reaction of a mixture of optical isomers of pinocembrina, which has been subjected to a protection of the phenolic hydroxyl group, with a chiral primary amine to provide a mixture of diastereoisomers, and carry out a separation of the mixture of diastereoisomers and optionally carry out a purification; and (2) desderivatize the separated diastereoisomers, and carry out a deprotection, and optionally carry out a purification, to obtain (R) - (+) - pinocembrina and / or (S) - (-) - pinocembrina, in the that said chiral primary amine is represented by the following general formula: chiral primary amine wherein, R1 is selected from -H, -CH3, -CH2CH3, -CH2CH2CH3, -CH (CH3) 2 or -CH2OH; R2 is selected from phenyl, benzyl, or phenyl or benzyl with a substituent on an aromatic ring thereof, -CH2OH-CH (OH) CH3, -CH (OH) C2H5, phCH (OH) - in which the substituent is selected of -CH3, -CH2CH3, -CH2CH2CH3, - (CH2) 3CH3, -CH (CH3) 2, -NO2, -CF3, -F, -CI, -I, -OH, -OCH3, -OC2H5, -COOCH3, -COOC2H5, -CONH2, -CONHCH3, -CONHC2H5, -CON (CH3) 2 or -CONHCH (CH3) 2; R3 has the same definition as that of R1 and R2 with the proviso that R3 does not have the same structure as R1 or R2 at the same time. |
