abstract | A method of supplying at least one reagent to a device for processing sample material, the method comprising: providing a support film (320) with a dry reagent layer (310) that includes the at least one reagent; providing a microfluidic device with at least one chamber (55): arranging the reagent layer portion of the support film (320) coated with the reagent layer (310) inside the at least one chamber (55) of the device for processing sample material, wherein the at least one chamber (55) can contain or channel a fluid; wherein the reagent layer (310) is sized to fit inside the at least one chamber (55) of the device for processing the sample material; and wherein the at least one reagent fits inside an opening of the chamber (55), such that the reagent layer (310) is inside the chamber (55) while the support film (320), although not inside the chamber (55), is sized to overlap the opening and forms an inner surface of the chamber (55) in the opening. |
