Polycarbonate compositions with improved optical properties |
abstract |
Composition containing a polycarbonate or copolycarbonate containing bisphenol-A and at least one pair of a phosphorus compound with the oxidation number +3 and a phosphorus compound with the oxidation number + 5 according to one of the formulas (1) - (6 ) with X> = a single chemical bond or an oxygen atom, and R1 and R2, independently of each other and with each other, a phenyl moiety or a substituted phenyl moiety, in which in one pair, in each case, the compound phosphorus with the oxidation number +5 corresponds to the oxidized form of the phosphorus compound of the oxidation number +3 and the content of the compound with the highest oxidation state is lower than that of the compound with the lowest oxidation number. |
