abstract |
A method for producing L-methionine and organic acids, which comprises the following steps: 1) preparing an L-methionine precursor producing strain and producing L-methionine precursor by fermentation of said strain, where the L precursor producing strain -methionine is prepared by eliminating or weakening the activity of cystathionine gamma synthase or O-succinyl homoserine sulfhydrylase or O-acetyl homoserine sulfhydrylase involved in the degradation of L-methionine precursor and enhancing the activity of homoserine O-succinyl transferase or of homoserine O-acetyl transferase involved in the synthesis of L-methionine precursor from homoserine; and 2) produce L-methionine and organic acids by enzymatic reaction using the precursor of L-methionine and methyl mercaptan as substrates, where the enzymatic reaction is induced by enzymes or microbial strains containing the activity of cystathionine gamma synthase or O-succinyl homoserine sulfhydrylase or O-acetyl homoserine sulfhydrylase, where the precursor of L-methionine is O-acetyl homoserine or O-succinyl homoserine. |
