abstract | Procedure for the purification of a compound represented by the formula (I): wherein R1 and R2 are each independently halogen, alkyl with 1 to 8 carbons or alkenyl with 2 to 8 carbons; m and n are each independently 0 or an integer from 1 to 4; and R3 is alkyl with 1 to 8 carbons, alkenyl with 2 to 8 carbons, cycloalkyl with 3 to 8 carbons, benzyl, 4-chlorobenzyl or 2-phenylethyl, which comprises: adjusting a pH of an aqueous solution containing the compound of formula (I ) at a preset value (P1) in the range of 8.4 to 8.7, then extract said aqueous solution with an organic solvent not miscible with water, and separate said extracted aqueous solution to an organic layer and an aqueous layer, in the that the compound of formula (I) is in the separated organic layer and add water to the separated organic layer, and adjust the pH of the aqueous layer to a preset value (P2) in the range of 8.3 to 8.6, in which the compound of formula (I) is in the separated organic layer. |
