A process for producing a fluoro derivative, which is represented by the formula [2],**Formula** by reacting a hydroxy derivative, which is represented by the formula [1],**Formula** with sulfuryl fluoride (SO2F2) in the presence of an organic base. In formula [1] and formula [2] each of R, R1 and R2 is independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a substituted alkyl group, an aromatic ring group, or an alkoxycarbonyl group, in which the Substituted alkyl group is defined as an alkyl group, in which a halogen atom, a lower alkoxy group, a lower haloalkoxy group, an amino-lower alkyl group, a thio-lower alkyl group, a cyano group, an aminocarbonyl group (CONH2) , an unsaturated group, an aromatic ring group, a nucleic acid-like base, an aromatic ring-oxy group, an aliphatic heterocyclic group, a protected hydroxyl group, a protected amino group, a protected thiol group, or a protected carboxyl group has been substituted in the same in any number and in any combination on any carbon atom of the alkyl group, where "lower" means C1-C6 straight chain or branched. |
