abstract | Osmotic delivery system for the supply of an active agent formulation in a fluid environment, comprising: a reservoir, comprising an inner wall, which defines a light containing the active agent formulation and an osmotic agent formulation; wherein the active agent formulation is a suspension formulation comprising a suspension vehicle comprising a solvent and a polymer, and a particle formulation comprising a polypeptide; a piston assembly positioned in the reservoir light, the piston assembly comprising: a columnar body having a core made of a polymer material selected from the group consisting of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and ketone ether depolyether ( PEEK), the columnar body also comprising an edge at its distal end for fitting and sealing with the inner wall of the tank, and a spring retained at the distal end to request the edge against the inner wall of the tank, where the piston assembly isolates the active agent formulation of osmotic agent formulation; a semi-permeable membrane positioned at a first distal end of the reservoir in a manner adjacent to the osmotic agent formulation, and a circulation modulator positioned at a second distal end of the reservoir in a manner adjacent to the active agent formulation, said modulator having circulating a hole for supplying the active agent formulation to the defluent environment. |
