Process for the preparation of polyol esters, in which at one stage a) at least one carboxylic acid anhydride (A) and diethylene glycol (B) are mixed and reacted, the molar ratio of the components (B) to (A) being found in the range from 1.5 to 1.0 to 0.7 to 1.0 and the weight part of the components (A) and (B) being found with respect to the weight of all the components of the mixture in the range between 66 and 90% by weight, and in a stage b) to the polyol ester of stage a) diethylene glycol (B) is added, the polyester of stage a) presenting a greater molar mass than the polyester of stage b), characterized in that in step a) at least one additional C2-C4 (C) glycol is added, except diethylene glycol, and at least one aliphatic C5-C12 dicarboxylic acid (D) or at least one C5-C10 (E) glycol and at least one carboxylic acid C4 (F). |
